About Me

My name is Marion Verloop, and I’ve been passionate about yarn and crafting from a very young age.

I first learned to knit from my mother when I was just five years old. I started with small projects for my dolls and stuffed animals and eventually moved on to sweaters. Around the age of 15, I discovered cross-stitching, and later in 2009, I picked up knitting again.

In 2011, my mother also taught me how to crochet — a skill that would open up a whole new world of creativity for me.

Since 2014, I’ve been creating Mochilas — beautiful, colorful crochet bags inspired by the Wayuu tradition. Over time, I developed my own patterns and even one new technique, which I now share through tutorials and videos.

This website was lovingly built by my husband in 2019 as a surprise gift, and it continues to grow with every new design and idea.

I hope you enjoy exploring my work and find inspiration for your own creative journey!
